One thing has changed—Paramore will no longer be playing "Misery Business" live in concert.

Frontwoman Hayley Willams announced that the band will be playing the hit song for the last time during the final date of their After Laughter tour in Nashville.

"Tonight, we're playing the song for the last time for a really long time. This is a choice that we have made because we feel that we should. We feel like it's time to move away from it for a little while," she said, slightly nervous. "This is happening. We're gonna play it."

Before launching into the song, Hayley went on to say, "This is to every bad decision that led us here. This is to all the embarrassing things we might have said. But we owned up to it, and we grew."

The band has received criticism over time because of the song, particularly the second verse, in which Hayley revealed she wrote when she was 17. In 2015, Hayley wrote a Tumblr post, distancing herself from the controversial lyrics, which weren’t sung on their final tour date.

She said, "'Misery Business' is not a set of lyrics that I relate to as a 26-year-old woman. I haven't related to it in a very long time. Those words were written when I was 17... admittedly, from a very narrow-minded perspective. It wasn't really meant to be this big philosophical statement about anything. It was quite literally a page in my diary about a singular moment I experienced as a high schooler. “

Do you agree or do you still want to hear "Misery Business" sung live?
