The upcoming The Batman movie has been getting a lot of attention lately, with Westworld’s Jeffrey Wright who will reportedly play James Gordon and Jonah Hill who will either play Riddler or Penguin! And now it’s time for Catwoman to join in the buzz!
The Batman, featuring Robert Pattinson as a young Batman, is a solo movie that will have multiple villains in it. And now, a rumoured shortlisted cast list for the cat burglar, Catwoman, has made its way around.
The shortlisted actresses include Marvel’s Tessa Thompson, Lupita Nyong’o, X-Men’s Alexandra Shipp, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Logan Browning!
While it’s just a rumoured list, Tessa Thompson and Lupita Nyong’o don’t seem likely to play the role, seeing that they are already playing major roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The solo Batman movie will be released in 2021 and is written and directed by Matt Reeves.
