BATE, a DJ duo from Malaysia is lighting up the music scene, with one of the hottest singles to come out of ASIA.
Bursting into the charts with a viral single, BATE released their debut single ‘One I Love’, featuring Blake Rose and Radio3000 in March 2018.
‘One I Love’ has hooked listeners across the world, making BATE the only Malaysian artist on the Global Viral 50 chart. ‘One I Love’ has over 13 million streams, was signed on to Capitol Records for North America & UK territories, and has been featured on Viral 50 charts in over 10 countries, including the United States, the U.K, Sweden, and Japan. BATE was also presented with a Gold Award in recognition of them being the first South East Asian DJs to achieve 10 million streams in Malaysia.
Born and bred in Kuala Lumpur, BATE has always showcased high energy sets at major events and festivals across the region, including Future Music Festival Asia, Zouk Out, and the much talked about ‘Asia’s Largest Festival at Sea’, It’s The Ship.
To date, BATE has performed in Melbourne, Seoul, Bangkok, and Singapore, and has supported the likes of Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Zedd, Tiesto, and Deadmau5 on tour.
