Tiger Woods is awake and recovering in his hospital room following his horrific car crash in California. 

The golf legend underwent surgery after suffering series leg injuries. 

Meanwhile athletes and other notable figures sent Woods their well wishes. 

Among them were golf legend Jack Nicklaus, Olympic great Michael Phelps, tennis's Serena Williams, and ex-presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump

EPL could allow fans to attend end-of-season matches

The English Premier League is set to vote on whether to allow fans to attend matches on the final day of the season. 

This, amid concerns that this would give home teams an unfair advantage, especially in the battle for European places, or the fight against relegation. 

The UK govt recently announced plans to allow up to 10 thousand spectators to attend matches by mid-May, in  time for the final weekend of the EPL campaign.

PSG could hijack Real Madrid's bid to sign David Alaba from Bayern Munich. 


According to reports, the French champions have tabled a 'concrete' bid for the Austrian defender, who recently confirmed that he will leave Bayern this summer. 

Real were widely considered to be the favourites to sign Alaba.

However, Spanish media claims that they are struggling to match the player's salary demands.
