Tze Yong OUT Of Thomas Cup!

National shuttler Ng Tze Yong won't be playing in next week's Thomas Cup Finals.  

The world No. 18 has been out since February due to a back injury which required surgery. 

Doubles player Choong Hon Jian will take his place instead to complete the 10-man squad.

Speaking of our athletes, the M-League calendar could be adjusted to give coach Kim Pan Gon more time with his national players.  

The FAM says it's considering the move in light of Malaysia's World Cup qualifier against Kyrgyzstan in June.  

It adds that it's important for the national team to do well following back-to-back losses against Oman.

UEFA have fined Barcelona for racist behavior by their fans in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie at PSG.  

The Catalan giants have also been charged over their supporters lighting fireworks and causing damage during the match, totaling their fine to 32 thousand euros.

Red Bull have confirmed that they're in contract negotiations with F1 driver Carlos Sainz.  

Team director Helmut Marko adds that they're facing competition from Audi, who's offered Sainz a lucrative deal.
