Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri new Deputy PM

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has been appointed the nation’s new Deputy Prime Minister.

The PM’s Office says he will retain his Defense Ministry portfolio.

Meanwhile, Datuk Seri Hishahmuddin Tun Hussein was appointed Senior Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He will lead the Security Cluster which was previously headed by Datuk Seri Ismail.

7k new COVID-19 cases for second day

Malaysia’s number of new COVID-19 infections hovered at around the 7 thousand mark for a second consecutive day.

The Health Ministry reported 7,097 cases today, with most of the infections detected in Selangor.

KL had the second most cases at 1,005.

Man pleads guilty for impersonating doctor at COVIID-19 vaccine center

An individual has pleaded guilty at a court in Sarawak, for allegedly impersonating a doctor on duty at a COVID-19 vaccination center.

Reports say the suspect was arrested by police earlier this month.

Among others, cops confiscated the suspect's medical equipment, as well as a fake workers pass.
