Man United's Shortlist Of Carrick Replacements

Man United reportedly have a handful of candidates in mind if they decide to sack under-fire boss Michael Carrick.

According to reports, United's technical director is pushing for the appointment of Eddie Howe, who left Newcastle at the end of last season.

Other candidates include ex-Chelsea boss Antonio Conte, and former Germany and Bayern Munich boss Julian Nagelsmann.

Carrick's job is said to be under increased threat after their 4-1 Champions League defeat to Como, which extended their winless run to 7 matches in all competitions.
