Everybody knows who Jay Chou is and even if you don’t know his songs, you might know him as an actor in a few popular Hollywood movies! But some Japanese people now think he’s a Yakuza boss!
The 43-year-old Taiwanese singer recently scared some Japanese customers out of a café when they thought he was a gangster when he was on vacation in Japan.
The customers at the café didn’t recognize him when he went to the café and thought he was a yakuza because he was wearing a dark print shirt, sunglasses and a beanie.
He was left alone at the café because the customers paid and left as soon as he walked into the shop and the shop owner even offered to pay for his bill.
Jay Chou also posted on Instagram saying he hoped he wouldn’t wear similar outfits again next time.
Perhaps you shouldn’t wear the same outfit style like Jay Chou the next time too but then again maybe it’s his looks that had such an impact that people thought he’s an intimidating gangster…
