Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara are reportedly expecting a baby!

According to Page Six, the Joker actor and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo actress are expecting their first child together.
The extremely private pair have been keeping a low profile and “have been quarantining at their home in Los Angeles.” Rooney has been recently spotted wearing baggy clothes.
Speaking to Page Six, a source exclusively noted that they actress could be “as far as six months along in her pregnancy.”

Reps for both Joaquin and Rooney have refused to respond or confirm the happy news.
The couple first met on the set of Her, but they did not start dating until they worked together again on Mary Magdalene. According to Joaquin, he was initially convinced that Rooney “despised” him but he eventually realised that she was interested but too shy to express it.
“She’s the only girl I ever looked up on the internet,” Joaquin told Vanity Fair. “We were just friends, email friends. I’d never done that. Never looked up a girl online.”
Mid-last year, rumours that the couple were engaged made its way around as Rooney was spotted wearing an engagement ring. Us Weekly reported that the couple was indeed engaged in July 2019.
