Failing your exam or semester might not be easy to take in, especially when you see your friends moving forward in their studies or start working. But this Malaysian student proved that you should never give up no matter how many times you fail!

A UiTM law student recently went viral after he tweeted about how he finally graduated after failing 18 times in 11 semesters and it will inspire you.

The student named Muhammad Rafiq Izzat Zaidi, revealed that he found it difficult to adapt to new learning environments and it would take a long time for him to understand a subject.

“In my first semester, I failed four subjects,“ Rafiq said. “The more I failed, the longer a subject would stick in my head even though it took me 11 semesters.

“When my friends studied up to all eight semesters, which is four years, I was still not finished. Seeing them start careers in the legal world put a lot of pressure on me.

His relatives also added more pressure on him by asking him when he would finish his degree. He even almost got expelled for failing a subject three times but managed to appeal for a second chance.

“I’m thankful for finally finishing my studies after so long. I will work hard to become a lawyer and own my own law firm,” he added. “Remember, if you fail seven times, you have to get up for the eighth. Hard work pays off.”

Definitely an inspiration! No matter what anyone says to you, if you have the heart to do it, don’t give up!

Congratulations to Rafiq on his graduation! Share this with someone who is struggling to inspire them!
