Indonesia Says Msia Claim Their National Costume

Let’s just call it the claiming trinity, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore are always fighting over what belongs to whom and the latest one involves Indonesia, Malaysia and a traditional costume.

The Mister Global 2019 male pageant was recently held in Bangkok, Thailand and Mr. Global Malaysia, Chris Chan wore the Bornean Dayak costume!

One look at the costume and we, Msians will definitely say that it’s a Sarawakian costume but in the eyes of Indonesians, it apparently belongs to them.

Indonesian netizens commented saying that the costume is not a Malaysian traditional costume and even said that we claimed batik and kebaya too!

While the feud is still on, many other netizens explained that the Dayaks spread across Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei even though it’s native to Borneo.

But while Malaysian and Indonesian netizens argue over the whole ordeal, Kim Kongwoo from South Korea won the Mister Global 2019 title so it’s doesn’t matter anyways.

Whatever costume is it, it’s not as bad as America’s costume because well…
