There are so many internet/viral challenges out there and they've got us dancing and singing but have never ever gone so far as to make us put live cockroaches on our faces!
A new viral challenge called the Cockroach Challenge requires you to put a cockroach (or more) on your face and take a selfie with it!
Apparently, the viral trend started after a man named Alex Aung posted a photo with a large cockroach on his face and posted it with the caption “new challenge, can you do this?” (why Alex… why?)
Many have already taken up the challenge and while a number of people use large American cockroaches that are commonly raised as pets, putting them on your face is definitely not a good idea…
The saliva, feces and shedding body of a cockroach can trigger allergies and even asthma. Also, what are you going to do if it flies??
And there’s always that one person that'll take the challenge too far…. We present to you, the girl with the cockroach in her mouth. (Again, why?)
So while you’re here wondering what’s wrong with the world, maybe not try putting cockroaches on your face…? But we know that’s not going to stop that one friend of yours to ask you to do this with them.
