Man Creates Personalised Rubber Stamp To Get Through ‘Check-In’ SOPs Faster

With the current ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, life as we know it has changed in many ways. Instead of just going about as we normally do, we’re now faced with many different types of SOPs that must be followed in the new normal.

These SOPs of course include registering yourself or scanning the QR code before entering a premise, temperature checks and social distancing.

While registering yourself through the MySejahtera app or using the QR code provided might be easy for those of us with smartphones, premises still provide books or papers for people to write on and register to make things easier.

One man however has come up with a method to make this registering process even easier – a personalised rubber stamp!

Masnita bt Talib took to Facebook to share a picture that had been going around on Whatsapp that shows one of these registration books with an extraordinary entry.

In between all the hand-written names, a stamp with the details of “Ishak Bin Mat Hassan” can be seen clearly and definitely stands out from the rest.

According to the Facebook post, the stamped name was found in the registration book of a cafeteria at the KPJ Seremban hospital. The cafeteria requires customers to log in their details every time they take their food and pay for it.

The narrator noted that an older uncle was standing in line in front of them and the narrator wondered how this uncle would get by with using a smartphone to register.

When the cashier asked the uncle to register to his details in the book, Uncle Ishak stunned everyone by smoothly whipping out his very own personalised rubber stamp!

Why didn’t we think of that?!

While a rubber stamp maybe old school, it definitely is less hassle to use (especially if you’re registering at every single shop you go to…)!

Uncle Ishak has definitely come up with an ingenious idea! We’d totally make our own rubber stamps too!

Would you use a rubber stamp to register? Do you think it’s a smart idea? Let us know your thoughts!
