As Malaysians, we know that there’s many different languages, dialects and slangs that are used in daily conversations.

What may be normal to us however can be complicated or amusing to those from other countries, but this Japanese guy definitely nails our Malaysian-English accent!

A recent tweet from @DB_Daijiro is slowly makings its way around the Twitterverse and for good reason.

In the video posted, Dajiro does a short skit on the differences between Malaysian-English and Japanese-English and tbh, his imitation is on point!

Of course, his imitation leans more towards the Chinese-Malaysian-English slang but we’re still amused at his attempt to show the vast difference between the two accents.

We’ll let you be the judge.

Complete with different backgrounds to set the scene, Dajiro manages to capture the simple essence of Malaysians and it’s definitely easy for us to relate to!

For someone who did not grow up in Malaysia, it’s definitely fun to see Dajiro’s interpretation of Manglish!

We’ve watched this over and over again and we can’t stop giggling!

What do you think about Daijiro’s Malaysian-English imitation? Think it’s on point? Let us know!
