Here’s what you could be working on
This project also aims to enable enthusiastic and passionate young Malaysians to push boundaries and produce an audio-visual art piece using HP Malaysia’s latest generation of laptops. As part of the program, each mentee will receive a HP laptop equipped with thoughtful innovations.

Of course, nothing beats real-life experiences and professional guidance, so HP has sought the help of three popular personalities. Serving as mentors, they’ll be walking participants through step-by-step, to give you the head start you need to excel in your creative fields.
Meet your mentors
Zee Avi

Ah, a name that Malaysians know very well. Best known for hits like ‘Kantoi’, ‘Just You And Me’, ‘Honey Bee’, and more, Zee is an internationally-acclaimed singer-songwriter who has performed and sold albums all over the world.
Daniel Veerapen

Daniel is a composer and music producer who has worked on music scores, TV shows, and collaborated with local singers like Zainal Abidin and M. Nasir, as well as international artists. He was also the man behind the 2017 SEA Games Kuala Lumpur opening ceremony music. Here’s a sample of the pretty cool things Daniel creates:
Edwin Raj

An award-winning creative director and storyteller, Edwin is recognised for his audio and visual productions with popular artists around the region.
He’s also the co-founder of a creative studio called 33.3 Studio known for their visual artwork with local stars like Joe Flizzow (‘Ciao’ is one of the videos Edwin executive-produced) and SonaOne.
Woah, sign me up! How do I join?
You don’t have to be an expert to participate! The HP Mentorship Project is open to creatives from all backgrounds and of any level of expertise. If you’re interested, submit your applications and portfolio of your own original work on HP's official website from now until 21 November 2021.
After careful consideration by the mentors themselves, 11 mentees will be selected to participate in this mentorship opportunity under their watchful eyes.
