Sony has yet to reveal much about the highly anticipated PlayStation 5 (besides some leaks) that’s set to be released “Holiday 2020”. So when Sony decided to make a reveal at the CES 2020 press conference, everyone was super excited!
But instead of any design or new specification reveal, Sony decided to build up all the hype just to unveil the new PlayStation 5 logo… and fans not just disappointed that there’s no new information for the gaming console, but also unimpressed with the new logo.
While some users understand that the new logo is pretty much the same as the PS4 logo substituted with a “5” (which Sony have been doing for years now), users on Twitter decided to roast it and some of it is hilarious!
Many users also took the opportunity to show how Sony’s design team “come up” with the PS5 logo…
Sony has previously announced that the new console will feature 3D audio, ultra-high speed SSD, ultra HD Blu-Ray and a brand-new controller with haptics and adaptive trigger buttons.
A source has also revealed that the new console will have full backwards compatibility for all the game from PS1 – PS4 and fans are excited!
Let’sGoDigital previously released a futuristic design for the PS5 based on the scraps of information from PS5 insiders and it looks amazing.
