It’s frustrating how we can’t upload videos more than 1 minute on instagram sometimes, but worry not because Instagram just launched the new IGTV and you can upload video up to 1 hour in length!
IGTV will be accessible from the Instagram app itself or you can also download the standalone app. The videos appearing on IGTV will be vertical and full screened, and you can upload your own too!
From the layout of the new feature/app, it kind of feels like you’re watching Instagram stories, but with YouTube-length videos! So you can swipe the videos you don’t like watching away and watch only what you love instead!
Also, unlike videos on Instagram, you can choose to scroll to any part of the video—so you can finally scroll back if you miss something! Here’s another plus side: there won’t be ads in IGTV—for now—and we hope it’s won’t evolve into how Facebook video ads are.
