Imagine this. You're sitting in the cinema with your popcorn and drink, ready to watch The Nun. You're mentally prepared and some of you might even have a blanket or jacket ready to cover your eyes. And then... Valak appears, just... not on screen. What do you do?
Almost everyone can agree that The Conjuring films are well-loved and the story behind the movie series is flawless and terrifying. Out of all the monsters that were introduced by the franchise, Valak takes the top spot. Valak is the demon-like nun, who terrorised the Warrens in the second instalment. Now that the series' prequel, The Nun, is out, people are excited to meet this horrifying creature again. On screen, that is.
A group of excited viewers got to meet Valak up close and personal when the villain turned up at a local movie theatre! A Facebook user uploaded a video showing his experience with Valak.
The footage showed someone who cosplayed as Valak the Defiler, walking up the cinema's steps, looking for their seat. Instead of screaming in fright, the moviegoers were laughing in excitement and delight!
No one could stifle their laughter as they watched Valak trip while looking for their seat! It seems that the fear the moviegoers felt about the film was washed away as they laughed and giggled at the turn of events!
The Internet went wild with laughter as well and some even hoped that they would have the same experience as these lucky people. Although the Valak we see in the video is hilarious, just remember, the Valak on screen won't leave you screaming in laughter.
