Many of us have moments where we accidentally key in the wrong code to unlock our phones. Sometimes, we make a mistake so often that the phone automatically locks you out for a set period of time. And other times, other people lock us out of our phones.

This dad had his three-year-old son to thank for locking him out of his iPad for 25-and-a-half million minutes, or roughly, 48 years!

Journalist, Evan Osnos from Washington, DC, took to Twitter to ask for help when he realized that his son had locked him out. He said that the three-year-old had entered the wrong password too many times and the iPad locked itself for almost half a century!

He tweeted: “Uh, this looks fake but, alas, it’s our iPad today after 3-year-old tried (repeatedly) to unlock. Ideas?”

Evan immediately got a ton of helpful and… not so helpful tips from the Twitterverse.

What would you do if you were locked out of your phone/tablet for almost 50 years?
