Different people grew up watching a different era of the Transformers series, and the Beast Wars: Transformers animated series is definitely one of the more famous ones!
After the success of the Bumblebee movie, Paramount is reportedly developing two new Transformers movies!
While one of it has been confirmed to be a sequel to the Bumblebee movie, the second movie will serve as a reboot to the main Transformers franchise, and is reported to be based on Beast Wars!
The Beast Wars series takes place centuries after the Autobots and Decepticons ended the great wars and the heroic Maximals and treacherous Predacons crash landed on a strange planet that forces them to take on new animal forms and only transform during battle.
The Amazing Spider-Man writer James Vanderbilt has been hired to write the screenplay for Beast Wars since April and John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum executive producer Joby Harold is set to pen the Bumblebee sequel.
Fans are overwhelmed by the news and can’t wait for the return of their favourite Beast Wars characters!
While the Maximals and Predecons are descendants of Autobots and Decepticons, fans are still looking forward to see how Optimus Prime will appear in the Beast Wars reboot movie!
