Following the incredible reception of NYK and Shelhiel’s “AAA”, which has garnered over 16 million views globally on TikTok and Douyin since its release, New York-based R&B artist AUDREY NUNA has hopped onboard for an electrifying take on the song. “AAA (AUDREY NUNA Remix)” was written and produced by NYK, Shelhiel, and Isaac Miranda, and released through Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia.

NYK and AUDREY NUNA have been discussing a collaboration for close to a year, ever since the Malaysian urban pop act discovered his feature artist’s music through an Instagram user who named songs by both singers as her favourite releases of the week.

The lyrical focus of the song remains largely the same as the original, centering on influencer culture through NYK and Shelhiel’s lenses, and is now bolstered by AUDREY NUNA’s perspective on the phenomenon. When asked about the rework, NYK had this to say about AUDREY NUNA’s section: “Verse is fire. Just love how smoothly she fits in so many references in her lyrics, which is something I want to learn to do better.”
